2nd Annual “Fall Ball” Set for Sept. 24 to Benefit Make-A-Wish Iowa
September 20, 2016
Cinderella proved the right pair of shoes can make a girl’s dream come true. Enchanted Acres will help prove that the right shoes can help make wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Join us Saturday, Sept. 24, from 9 am to 5 pm when Enchanted Acres presents the 2nd Annual Fall Ball to benefit Make-a-Wish. A $5 per person gate fee will be given to Make-A-Wish North Iowa.
Gate admission covers the Peter Pan and Tinkerbell storytime, hay rides, Justice League bounce house and face painting. Attendees may also enjoy feeding our friendly goats, playing on the recycled tire playground and wading through the “corn pool.” New this year, the Dragonfire Dancing Horses will perform at 11 am and 1:30 pm.
Of course, there will be pumpkins galore and home decor for sale inside The Market. You’ll find a variety of farm fresh produce. Guests can also buy sweet treats, assorted homemade jams, bread mixes and Train Wreck wines. A glitter pumpkin workshop will be offered for $5 in Geppetto’s Workshop. Black Dog Barbecue and Perry’s Sweet Treats will be serving on site, too.
The Make-a-Wish Foundation believes a “wish experience” can be a game-changer for a child with a life-threatening medical condition. At Enchanted Acres, we believe in helping families create magical memories of picking pumpkins and enjoying fall fun like hay rides and campfire s’mores. I couldn’t be more excited about partnering with Make-a-Wish of North Iowa to host our 2nd annual, one-of-a-kind Fall Ball.
Be sure to use the hashtag #FallBall16 on all of your social media posts. A person will be drawn at random for prizes from Enchanted Acres.
